Doubly Blessed!

1 Blessed are those who have regard for the weak;
the LORD delivers them in times of trouble.
2 The LORD protects and preserves them—
they are counted among the blessed in the land—
he does not give them over to the desire of their foes.
3 The LORD sustains them on their sickbed
and restores them from their bed of illness. Psalm 41:1-3 NIV

Wow! Think about it...first of all you are blessed when you stop to help someone who is in trouble or when you take the time to minister to someone. It's true! It blesses me so much more whenever I have helped someone than the person I am actually helping! Then this scripture says that the Lord blesses those who help those in trouble! Talk about being Doubly Blessed!

So remember this whenever a ministry opportunity comes up! Ministry is not always convienent but no matter what the Lord will so bless you for taking the time to speak a kind word to someone who is wounded. He will bless you! So don't miss an opportunity for double blessings, look for ministry moments. They happen all around us all of the time. You are needed! Needed for ministry. Jesus has equipped us to be His hands and feet.

Peace Out,

The Plan

But the Lord's plans stand firm forever; His intentions can never be shaken. Psalm 33:4,11 New Living Translation

I am so relieved that I can trust in God's plans because man's plans are so evil. I am so glad that I can trust in His intentions for me. I know that His desires for my life are good! I just have to be obediant and trust Him. Regardless of the circumstances that surround me.

So today I am trusting in His Word and His Plan for my life, my work place, my church, my home and my family. His plan has to be better than mine! I know that His Vision is much bigger than mine :)

Every blessing You pour out I'll turn back to praise. When the darkness closes in Lord, still I will say, "Blessed Be The Name of the Lord!"
So today, right now, I choose to say, "Blessed be the Name of the Lord!"

Can I hear an Amen?

Music and Friends

I am sitting here at my computer listening to some awesome music. For those of you who know me personally, you know that music permeates everything in my life! It has been that for as long as I can remember.

Smells take some people back to a memory, for me it is music. I was created for worship and because of that I have always had a love of music. Music of all kinds.

I remember singing my way through elementary, jr. high, and high school. Through good times and hard times. It marked a joyous occasion or it could bring comfort to my heart during rough times. I have some great friends that when we get together after all of these years we still like to sing together! Even on facebook when someone from high school types one line of a song that we sang thirty years ago, two or three of us will join in writing the next line. It just puts a smile on my face and places a song in my heart. In many ways it can make me feel young at heart just like it was yesterday. Many, many memories placed to beautiful music.

So today I am thankful for the gift of music. Hey if anyone from High School happens to read this, could you share a memory with me? Thanks!

My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul.
Psalm 108:1 NIV

A Song On My Lips Always in Everything,
